This was taken during one of our bald eagle surveys that we do at the park. About five minutes after this picture was taken a mature bald eagle flew down the Hudson River in front of us and actually perched up on a limb just above the open water. I'm still blown away every time I see a bald eagle.

Bald Eagle survey
This was taken during one of our bald eagle surveys that we do at the park. About five minutes after this picture was taken a mature bald eagle flew down the Hudson River in front of us and actually perched up on a limb just above the open water. I'm still blown away every time I see a bald eagle.
